Hi I am Tina and welcome to my very first blog! First I want to start off by telling you five things about myself....1. I am a wife of almost 29 years to my husband Brian who supports my photography 100%. 2. I am a mom of a now almost 23 year old beautiful and amazing daughter that is mildly cognitively impaired and literally our miracle baby. 3. I absolutely love fur babies - especially my two beautiful and very spoiled Golden Retrievers. 4. I love to go camping and to travel. 5. I love all things photography!!!!!
The word "photography" literally means "drawing with light" If you were to give me a pencil and paper, I can not draw with my hand for anything (well maybe stick people, lol) and never felt very artistic until I picked up my very first camera about 24 years ago when our daughter was born! She was born two months premature and as I stated above, our miracle baby! Capturing every perfect inch of her and every milestone became very important to me! If you are a parent, I am sure that you have heard the words: "Do not take a day for granted because they grow up way too fast!" Trust me when I say how true that is! I blinked and my daughter who started out life at 3 pounds became 7 inches taller than me. I think because of the fight she had to start and keep life while spending 47 days in our local NICU and how fast she grew up from there is why one of my absolute favorite things to capture is the newborn! The picture above is from my most recent session of an adorable little boy named "Aiden".
