As a photographer, few things are as rewarding as capturing the genuine love and connection within a family. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the Morrow family, and I am thrilled to share some highlights from our session.

Location and Atmosphere

We chose a picturesque park in the Big Rapids area for our session that had a special connection for the family. The day was perfect with soft, natural light filtering through the trees, creating the ideal backdrop for our photos, however it was very hot and humid. This location provided a variety of beautiful settings, from lush greenery to wildflower fields allowing us to capture a diverse range of shots.

The Morrow Family

The Morrow family was an absolute joy to work with. Their warmth and affection for one another shone through in every photograph. Alex and Brea and their children, Ava and Bryce, were full of energy and laughter, making the session both fun and heartwarming.

Memorable Moments

One of the most memorable moments was when Ava spontaneously hugged her little brother and also picked him up and carried him across the field, creating a candid and touching shot that perfectly encapsulated their bond.

Why Family Sessions Matter

Family sessions like these are invaluable as they freeze moments in time, allowing families to look back and cherish their memories. They provide a tangible record of growth, love, and connection that can be passed down through generations. It’s always an honor to be part of such special occasions and to help families create lasting legacies. This family also just recently celebrated Ava and her love and laughter for life after being diagnosed 1 year ago with Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes. This little girl has been amazingly strong and has handled this life altering diagnosis like a champ!
